Our story
It started with one complaint
Fast food in Vellore usually meant food that had been made a while ago and kept warm until somebody wanted it. You could taste the wait. We thought that was a strange thing for everyone to have quietly accepted.
So Black Bird opened with a deliberately short menu and one rule: nothing gets made until it is ordered. It is slower on paper and it means the kitchen works harder, but it is the entire difference between a good pizza and a warm one.
That rule has not changed as we have grown. What has changed is the number of people making it happen — from a handful at one counter to a full team across 2 branches, most of whom you will recognise by your third visit.
We would rather do a handful of things properly than a hundred things adequately. If it is on our menu, it is because we are happy to eat it ourselves.

Nothing sits under a heat lamp waiting for a customer. The base gets stretched, the fries get dropped and the shake gets blended once your order lands in the kitchen.

Across 19 categories, every item earns its place. Nothing is on there to pad the list, and the kitchen never runs on guesswork.
Priced for everyday
This is food for a Tuesday evening, not a special occasion. Most of the menu sits comfortably under ₹200, and portions are built to actually fill you up.

Black Bird opens on R.T.M Street in Sankaranpalayam with a short menu built around pizzas, wraps and thick shakes.

Sankaranpalayam and Silk Mill in Katpadi, both serving the full menu, seven days a week — plus table ordering and takeaway.
