The plate that gets ordered for the table

Almost nobody orders loaded fries as their own meal. They go in the middle of the table and everybody picks, which makes them the most sociable thing on our menu and the item most likely to be ordered twice in an evening.

It also makes them the thing to get right. Fries that have been sitting go limp under their own topping, so like everything else here they are dropped when the order lands rather than kept warm in a tray.

The one consequence worth knowing: they are at their best in the first few minutes. Of everything we make, this is the item that most rewards eating here rather than carrying home.

For a table of four, one loaded plate and one plain between them alongside mains is usually about right. For anything larger, the arithmetic stops being obvious and it is worth asking us rather than guessing.
